Ahmedabad Express all set for 1st April match

Ahmedabad Express owned by Nandish Singh, Gaurav Aggarwal and Mrunal Jain are gearing up for their second match opposite Rowdy Bangalores in Frooti BCL season 2.

We spoke to a few playes of the team who seem really motivated after their last match.

Siddhanth (previously Anand) Suryavanshi

All the teammates are super charged up for the match especially after the loss to Jaipur Raj Joshiley. We have been practicing very seriously ever since that. Our only strategy is to give 1000% on the field and enjoy the game. Result will take care of itself...Each team member is vital and must contribute. Team owners have been very very patient and provided us with all that we asked for. Special mention to Mrunal Jain and Gaurav Aggarwal who've been very active and supportive. Special mention to Lekha as well, who is managing everybody beautifully. Watch our performance on 1st.

Vinod Singh

There's absolutely no strategy. I'm just concentrating on my batting and I feel if we score good amount of runs then the pressure will be on Rowdy Bangalore. Yes we have been practicing regularly and the team is doing very well. All are concentrating on their individual strengths and putting their best efforts. I feel Amit Gaur and Siddhanth Suryavanshi will perform good in this match. Our team owners are really sweet and hardworking. Though they are not playing, they make sure that we as a team get the best. If we are putting 100 percent on the field then they are putting 200 percent off the field in support of the team.

Mrunal Jain

Our second match is a very important match. We have to win no matter what, as we don't have an option. We have been constantly practicing and I am sure my team will perform.

Aasiya Kazi

I am feeling nervous and at the same time there is pressure to perform. We have to win the match. It's a game after all.

Munisha Khatwani

I am excited for the team. It's a good team and winning is important. I am quite positive and trying to give the team good energy.

Aarti Singh

Winning is important for our team and there are no if's and but's. We have fantastic owners who have provided us the best and our team has to prove that hard work is the only investment that never fails.
