Remix is the new trend in Bollywood. Many songs like 'Laila O Laila', 'Humma Humma' and 'Tamma Tamma' from the early 90's have been recreated recently. Buzz is that Akshay Kumar's popular track 'Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast' from the film 'Mohra' will be recreated for an upcoming film.
As per a report in a leading tabloid, filmmakers Abbas-Mastan are in plans to reprise 'Tu Cheez Badi Hai' for their upcoming film 'Machine'. Interestingly, the song's original singer Udit Narayan has been retained for this new version. The report quoted Abbas Buramawala stating, "Udit Narayan, who sang the original, will record it again, with Neha Kakkar [originally sung by Kavita Krishanmurthy]. We will shoot the son with Mustafa and Kiara Advani (female lead). It will feature as a situational track in the film". (sic)
The director-Jodi will also approach Bosco Martis to choreograph for the song. "We will decide the look and style for the song to be set in the club". (sic)
'Machine' is an upcoming thriller film, that will mark the debut of Mustafa Buramwalla (Son of Abbas Buramwalla). The film is slated to hit the silver screens on March 24, 2017.
