After Sonam Lamba, Siddharth Shivpuri opts out of Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya!

Another actor has been roped in to play Yash.

Not long ago, we reported that Sonam Lamba opting out from Sony TV's Rishta Likenge Hum Naya. The Rohit Suchanti and Tejasswi Prakash starer was supposed to see the addition of Sonam to create twists in Ratan and Diya's story but changes to the character sketch resulted into her backing out. And now, we hear that another actor has backed out of the show.

Siddharth Shivpuri, who was seen playing the character of Yash on the show has now opted out of it. The actor left to look out for better roles. The makers have found a replacement in Puneet Sharma who has been roped in to play Yash. Puneet was last seen in Qubool Hai as Faiz Ansari which was his debut on TV.

The actor has started shooting for the show. We wonder what kind of changes he will bring to the plot. What do you think about the replacement on the show? Let us know in the comments below.

I believe Puneet Sharma was last seen in Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara and NOT Qubool Hai. He's done quite a few shows after QH itself. All the best Puneet For RLHN.

Sidhdhart Shivpuri(yash) , Rohit Suchanti (Ratan) and Tejasswi Prakash(Diya) were the best trio that can ever be. Hope Shiddhart Shivpuri had left the show for better . I also hope that Puneet Sharma can fit as Yash.

Siddharth is a fabulous actor. I loved him as Yash. I don't like what's happening with him becoming a pushover :/ . Hope SS finds something fitting soon.

Tejasswi Prakash and Rohit Suchanti are doing well. And yes, RLHN should shut down as it isn't running on regressive content like forced marriages, superstitions and male lead abuse of the female lead, like some other shows have. Those shows definitely deserve to run for years, and not RLHN. Let's ignore all that regressive content (because the chemistry of the lead couple is all that matters) and pretend to be progressive.

We'll really miss Siddharth Shivpuri as yash, he was so perfect!
But as they say that the show must go on, welcome to the Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya fam Puneet Sharma. Totally loving Tejasswi Prakash and Rohit Suchanti as DiRa. They are love!
