After Promo Being Aired, Shoot of 'Naye Shaadi Ke Siyaape' Put on Hold

We certainly come across many instances when a particular show, even before it goes on-air is either canceled altogether or the pilot of the same is not approved by the concerned channel. Seldom do we come across shows that are suddenly put on hold after everything is completed, approved and even had its promo on-air. This rarity has occurred with the show, Naye Shaadi Ke Siyaape, the second season of Shaadi Ke Siyaape.

The first season of the show did not perform up to the mark but did have several positives to look at. That must have been one of the reasons for the makers to commission a second season but after shooting four episodes of the new installment, the shoot is currently halted. It is being said that the channel wants feedback from the audience before the go on to continue shooting. Some reports also suggest that creative differences have arisen between the channel and producers.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Producer Vishal Watwani said, "This is an experiment, and it’s in a totally different space. NSKS will be competing with reality shows. According to the marketing research, it has got a good response. We are testing waters and will see if the ratings come in. So, for now, the shoot has been put on hold. There are no creative issues with the channel.” 

The second season has actor Vipul Roy playing the lead role.
