If you have felt that March 2021 is becoming a repeat of sorts of March 2020 - the month that started the pandemic, it wouldn't be unfair to feel that. With vaccines rolling and a year into the pandemic, one would have felt that COVID-19 witnesses a slump with it's affect but the recent rising cases have totally suggested otherwise.
An array of public figures have also unfortunately started witnessing this effect where many have been testing positive of the virus lately. Recently, we reported how actor Manit Joura tested positive for COVID-19 and now, latest report suggests that actor Ariah Agarwal, who is Joura's co-star in Prem Bandhan has also tested positive for COVID-19.
Confirming with ETimes TV, Agarwal said “I had slight fever and although I didn’t have any other symptoms, I underwent a test yesterday, which came back positive. I shoot with actors across all age groups — senior and young. When you are working amid such a mix, it is not right to not be careful. My conscience didn’t allow me to not test.”
She has apparently lost her sense of smell in the mix. “I am feeling weak and have lost my sense of smell. It’s a bit weird to not be able to smell anything. I have isolated myself in my room. I’m taking Vitamin-C, zinc and doing steam inhalation. I am also staying well hydrated. Along with that, I am meditating and resting as much as possible. I’m digitally connected to my dear ones, who are making me feel loved. Some friendships are growing stronger. I have all the time to chat with my friends and catch up on the lost time (smiles)," she said.
Concluding, she said, “Your mental health gets affected when you are struck with COVID-19. So, I urge everyone to care of their mental health, too.”
