After Having 4 Flights Cancelled, 'Sanjivani 2' fame Namit Khanna Reaches Delhi To Meet Family

In these times of coronavirus lockdown, one of the toughest experiences has been that of traveling. Only recently, we reported about how actor Rati Pandey had a suffocating experience while traveling from Patna to Mumbai. And now, we have another actor who faced his set of woes but only a little differently than others. That is actor Namit Khanna, who was recently seen in Sanjivani 2. Khanna was desperately trying to be with his family members in Delhi but couldn't because all the flights kept getting delayed, in his case, four. 

In an interview with ETimes, Khanna said, "It’s been over a week and 4 canceled flights, 1 flight not confirmed even after paying for it. I didn’t expect it to be so difficult, especially when it’s already been more than two weeks since the Government allowed the functioning of domestic flights. I finally flew with Air India. I was getting pretty emotional and heavy-hearted every time my flight was getting cancelled. I think everyone should be with their loved ones at the time of this pandemic. I managed pretty well on my own all this time but now I’m thrilled to be back home. Much deserved family time."

He also opened up on his share of experience flying with all precautions and foralities at the airpor as he said, "Once I got to the airport everything seemed to go pretty smoothly. There were proper arrangements for a zero contact check-in and security. At the gate, the airline provided us with basic PPE kits along with a fresh face mask and shield. The flight was on time but was completely full. Unfortunately, I had a middle seat but was totally covered from head to toe."
