In a sign of relief and good news, actor Rahul Roy is on the road to recovery. The actor suffered a brain stroke while shooting for his new project titled LAC in Kargil.

Roy shared an update on his health and shared some pictures from the hospital itself. He is admitted at the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. 

On Monday, the actor shared a video on his official Instagram handle and informed his fans that he is recovering and will be back soon. Dressed in hospital clothes, Rahul was seen with his sister Pia Grace Roy and a friend, and said: “I am recovering And thanks to all my friends, family and fans who are also like my family for pouring so much of love and prayers for me. Will be back soon. Love you all - Rahul Roy.”

In another set of pictures, he also shared a photo of his brother Rohit, who is in Canada and wrote, "Family love. Recovering. A picture from the hospital @nanavatihospital Will be back soon. Love you all Rahul Roy #rahulroy.”

Few days ago, Director Nitin Kumar Gupta, who is currently bearing Rahul’s medical expenses had shared that the actor may require a stent to prevent future attacks.

Rahul Roy achieved overnight fame with his debut film Aashiqui and then starred in films like Junoon and Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee. He also emerged as the winner of the reality show Big Boss in 2006.
