After backlash on Maldives pics, Janhvi Kapoor issues clarification over new cover shot

Recently, Janhvi Kapoor had come in the public eye for her Maldives vacation. Last month, she had joined the bandwagon of celebrities jetting off to the Maldives.

It looks like Janhvi was in the Maldives for a work commitment as well. She shot for a magazine cover at the beach destination and shared the picture on her Instagram handle only recently.

Before the troll brigade could misjudge it as a shoot amid the lockdown, Janhvi issued a clarification over the cover picture she shared on her official account.

Sharing a dazzling picture featuring herself on the magazine cover, Janhvi asserted that the the picture was shot before lockdown and was done with all precautions. She wrote: “Pre committed post, and shot before lockdown. We were as safe and cautious as possible. Hope everyone is staying safe and strong.”

In the picture, Janhvi is raising temperatures in a silver bikini and wrap around. She kept her hair open with a subtle shiny makeup, giving it a sizzling look altogether.

Previously, several celebrities like columnist Shobhaa De, actor Shruti Haasan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui had bashed the B Town beauties for vacationing in Maldives and sharing pictures on social media, while the number of Covid-19 cases kept sky rocketing in India.
