Actor, Abhishek Avasthi was controversy's favourite baby several years ago, when he hit the news for being in a relationship with actress, Rakhi Sawant.

From their participation in the dance reality show, 'Nach Baliye' to their 'infamous' break-up, where Rakhi slapped Abhishek on camera, those were 'eventful times' for the actor.

However, all that is in the past and the actor has totally moved on on his life and is currently in a relationship with Ankita Goswami. And this time, the commitment is for a lifetime!

According to a leading news daily, Abhishek is all set to tie the knot at the end of this year and couldn't be happier. The actor mentioned about how happy he is and he couldn't have found a better partner to spend the rest of his life with.

About the background of the story, Abhishek mentioned that Ankita is an amazing cook and he can in fact apologise to her without committing any mistake if he is allured by the food cooked by her.

Abshishek also mentioned that both their families have met each other and the marriage should happen buy the end of this year.

He also addressed the concern of many about how Ankita is nine years younger to him, but that is not a concern for them, as he is an actor and he gets to work with people across all ages and he gets along with everyone.

Finally, about his past, where his failed relationships with Rakhi Sawant and Kalpana Sonwane were newsmakers, he said that his past doesn't matter to him anymore and he is superstitious about it of not jinxing his beautiful present with Ankita.

On the work front, Abhishek will be seen in 'Prem Ya Paheli... Chandrakanta', where he will be playing Kroor Singh's aide, Ahmed and that he will be a comical negative character.
