Aditya Pancholi gets interim bail in the rape and assault case filed against him

Actor and producer Aditya Pancholi got booked for rape five days ago. An actress lodged a complaint against Pancholi in Versova police station and following the same a case was registered on his name vide CR no 198/2019 U/s 376, 328, 384, 341, 342, 323, 506 IPC.

While the police said that it is difficult to find evidence in this case as the rape happened almost 10 years ago, Pancholi has managed to seek an interim bail. The Dindoshi court granted the interim bail till July 19, on Tuesday. 

As per the reports of ANI, "Actor Aditya Pancholi has been granted interim relief till 19th of July by Dindoshi Sessions court in a rape case filed against him."

As per the reports of another leading portal, DCP Paramjit Singh Dahiya had said that a FIR has been filed under section 376 (rape), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison, etc with intent to commit an offence) 384 (punishment for extortion), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.

Pancholi has been charged with rape and assault, however he pleads no guilty and says that he is being falsely implicated. Aditya has been a part of many Bollywood movies like Dum Maaro Dum, Bajirao Mastani, Yes Boss and many more.
