Adaa Khan On Relationships: I Believe In Destiny, Love Will Happen When It Is Destined To

Actress Adaa Khan has been missing from the small screen for a while now. After a stint on Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 in 2020, Adaa was seen in a special episode of Naagin 6 a few months ago. The actress, however, has not appeared in a full-fledged daily soap since Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara. She reveals, "Sitara ended in 2019, after which I did Khatron Ke Khiladi. Post that, I took to travelling and visited 8 countries before COVID hit in March and brought everything to a standstill. Everyone's life halted for 2 years after that, everybody was sitting at home. And it worked for me because I spent all that time with my family. Once the lockdown was lifted, I did 3 OTT projects and a couple of music videos. 

This has given rise to speculation that she has quit the television industry. Talking to the leading paper, Adaa rubbished the rumours and revealed that she is simply waiting for the right project to come by.  

 She even mentioned that "I don't know why but people think I have quit the industry. I'd like to clarify that I am very much a part of the industry. Just because I haven't taken up a full-fledged role on show in a while, that doesn't mean I have quit the medium. I am still on the lookout for a good project and will sign the dotted lines once I find something good," said the actress, who has been part of shows like Amrit Manthan, the Naagin franchise and Khatron Ke Khiladi. 

She even told leading portal that  "TV has given me everything I have today. I may step away from time to time to explore more opportunities, but I won't ever keep away from the small screen," Adaa said.

Talking about how she has handled this in her 13-year career, Adaa shared, "Yes, the profession is as demanding as it is rewarding. Thankfully, I live with my family and they are always around to support me. So I have a support system in place. As for uncertainties and unpredictabilities, not just the acting industry, but even life is! But they are a part and parcel of life. One always faces good times and bad times as well. Otherwise we wouldn't appreciate life for what it offers. The key to dealing with these is to take them in your stride and deal with it one day at a time...."

On the personal front, she is single and not really ready to mingle. Explaining her stance on relationships, Adaa stated, "I am single. But my forever commitment is to take care of myself and my family. As for a relationship and settling down, I believe in destiny and always say that it will happen when it is destined to."
