Actress Ishita Dutta OPENS UP and praises sister Tanushree Dutta!

While Tanushree Dutta coming out in the open about the alleged sxual harassment meted out to her on the sets of her 2008 film Horn OK Pleasss', has started a nationwide #MeToo movement, with many important names coming out.  

In an interview, Ishita revealed that she stayed away from commenting or talking about Tanushree's statement, because she was being asked ridiculous questions. She also revealed that the issue had opened up old wounds and that she (Ishita) relived the old pain and trauma of the 2008 incident again and that she did not need to show her support for her sister on social media.

Appreciating her sister's efforts and zeal, Ishita added that she was very proud of Tanushree's fight and said that it takes great amount of courage to do what her sister did.

Slamming social media trolls, Ishita stated that it was upsetting when she came across people trolling people who have come out in the open about their harassment, being trolled and made fun of on social media.

Speaking about the kind of support that her parents have given her, she said that their parents have always been very supportive and so has Tanushree, who has never demotivated her from joining the industry.
