Actress Esha Gupta bags a role opposite Arjun Rampal
The actress will be seen playing the wife of Rampal in their next film, "Paltan".
Paltan will be directed by JP Dutta. A multi-starer film, that will be feature actors like Suniel Shetty, Arjun Rampal, Harshvardhan Rane, Luv Sinha, and others in the lead role. However, now according to a leading tabloid, there's one more addition to the film of actress Esha Gupta.
This is not for the first time but, the duo had played a married couple in Prakash Jha's "Chakravyuh" in 2012. Talking about the project, Esha stated to the tabloid, "The film's publicist, who also happens to be my publicist, spoke to me about this role a while ago. It's an honour to be working with Dutta sir. His love for the country and passion for cinema is evident in his films."
The film is based on the backdrop of Indian-Sino war of 1962.
However, earlier, Abhishek Bachchan was supposed to be one of the leads in Paltan. But, the actor backed out at the last minute. Well, the reason behind the sudden back out is unknown as both neither the Junior Bachchan nor the makers revealed the actual reason behind it.
