Actors and their memorable Bhai Dooj!

The eternal bond between a brother and a sister is signified on the auspicious occasion of Bhai Dooj. It is celebrated across the nation to protect our sisters and make them happy throughout their lives. Though it can't be described in words, but it becomes memorable one through a gift. Our TV celebs talks about the gifts they have received or they are gifting to their siblings and their fond memories related to Bhai Dooj.

Karan Sharma who was seen in Sony TV's Ek Nayi Pehchaan  - My sisters are in my hometown and I am in Mumbai. I am feeling sad as because of work I didn't get time to be with them on Bhai Dooj. I am planning to do a conference call with all my sisters. When I got my first job, I did savings. On Bhai Dooj with my savings I gave them dresses. I think that was the most memorable gift, because with all my savings from the first job I bought gifts for them.

Esha Kansara who was seen in Star Plus' Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi...Meri Bhabhi - This is first time in four years that I've spent more than a week with my family and my brother, and post diwali my brother wasn't suppose to be with me for Bhai dooj as he had to go out station for some work, and I actually wanted to spend Bhai dooj with him as we generally celebrate just the Raksha Bandhan together. But luckily my brother missed his flight (all in good humor (laughs) in the morning and now he is with me to spend one more day (smiles) so I guess I couldn't get a better gift than this..and also on top of that he is planning to gift me an abroad trip in December.

Ankit Gupta who is seen in Channel V's Sadda Haq - Well I don't have a real sister. I have cousins. Had I been at my place I would have gifted her some gold because I feel it's a good investment  for her.

Ankita Sharma who was seen in Colors' Rangrasiya - For this bhai dhooj I m giving badminton rackets to my brother because he is a badminton player and for me every bhai dooj is memorable because mujhe jo bhi chahiye hota hai mujhe as a gift mil jaata hai.

Aadesh Chaudhry who is seen in Colors' Sasural Simar Ka - I have a muh boli sister, her name is Vidha Sharma. I met her in my first year of engineering college when some guy was ragging her and I fought for her. This way we became brother and sister. She doesn’t have a brother nor do I have a sister so we both together celebrate this occasion every year. As I am in Aligarh she will be visiting my home today and I am planning to gift her an I-pad on this auspicious occasion of Bhaidooj.

Harshita Ojha who was seen in Colors' Beintehaa - I woke up in the morning and after praying to God, I performed Aarti for my brother Devyansh and prayed for his long life. I fed sweets to him and then we had the traditional food cooked by my Mom. 

Vinita Joshi who was seen in Life OK's Baawre - Bhai Dooj is a special day and on this day a  brother and a sister's relationship grows more stronger. Last year I got a gym kit for my younger brother as he is studying in the college. This year as I am not in town, so once I am back in Mumbai I will give him a pair of ear phones this year. I always like to get things which are useful, so that he would remember every time he will use them.

Neil Bhatt who is seen in Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum - I'll be home this bhai dooj so will get to spend one whole day with my sister. It's been a while I've spent time so my plan is to spend time however she wants. The most memorable gift that I feel I gave her was a wacom tablet. It's really helped her in her work so I feel it's a useful gift.
