Actor Vineet Kumar has been off the TV screens for a rather long time now, five years to be precise. Kumar is now all set to make his return and is on the lookout for new projects but this time he has chosen an entirely new identity - Rrajvir Singh. The actor will now be called Rrajvir Singh.
Talking about it to ETimes TV, Singh said, “I had tried to change my name in the past as well. However, I was advised by my family guruji to wait for the right time. My new name has been finalised by the elders in my family. It has better vibration and suits my personality.” Rrajvir admits that his friends and acquaintances are taking time to adjust to this change. “People take time to adapt to a new name. I keep correcting them whenever they call me by my original name. I have changed my name on my social media pages and started the paperwork for the process of changing my name officially.”
Talking about this five year gap, he said, . Talking about the five-year gap, he says, “I had to take a break as I wanted to set up my own business. That took my time. Our profession isn’t secure and I had to make arrangements for financial stability and security. I needed to figure an alternate source of income. Besides, I tied the knot and I wanted to spend quality time with my wife, which is difficult when you are shooting for a daily soap.”
