Actor Vikram Gokhale still alive, family refutes death news

Fans appear to be quite concerned and are wishing for the legendary actor Vikram Gokhale's quick recovery ever since the news that he has been hospitalised and is in critical condition first surfaced. In the midst of this difficult situation, some news sources claimed that the Gokhale had died. 

In the most recent update, Gokhale's family has confirmed that the actor is still alive and is being cared for by qualified medical professionals. After which several news channels, which initially claimed that the actor is dead, have now taken down the articles from their website. 

Just a few minutes back, news agency ANI confirmed that the actor is alive. In a tweet, ANI reported, “Veteran Actor Vikram Gokhale is still critical and on life support. He has not passed away yet. Keep praying for him–confirms Vikram Gokhale's daughter.”

Vikram's wife Vrushali Gokhle spoke to Etimes and said that the actor is still alive. "He went into a coma yesterday afternoon and hasn't come around since. He's being ventilated. Depending on whether he is better, deteriorating, or still not responding, doctors will determine what to do the next morning "explained Vrushali.

On Wednesday morning, the Press Trust of India reported that the actor had been admitted to the hospital due to issues with his health.
