Actor Susheel Gowda Dies by Suicide; Kannada Film Industry Expresses Shock

In another shocking turn of events, actor Susheel Gowda took his life at his residence in his home town Mandya in Karnataka. The exact reason behind him taking this drastic step is yet to be revealed.

The investigating officer of the case has confirmed to Indian Express, “Susheel Gowda took his own life in his house located in Induvalu, Mandya. His mortal remains have been handed over to the family after post-mortem. An investigation is now underway,” K Parashuram, Mandya Superintendent of Police.

Susheel Gowda was 30-years-old and had had acted in the romantic serial Anthapura. His death has shocked the whole of Sandalwood industry, his family, fans, friends and well-wishers who are all now expressing their grief.

Shocked by the death of Susheel, Amita Ranganath, who had shared screen space with Susheel told Times of India, “I got the news from my friend. I still can’t believe that he is no more. He was such a sweet and soft hearted person who never loses his cool. It’s been very sad to know that he has left us so early. He had the talent to achieve more in the entertainment industry.”

Director of the serial Anthpura, Aravind Koushik on his face book page posted, "Sad news I heard . Susheel Gowda who played the lead in the tv serial Antahpura that I directed is no more . Rest in Peace."
