Actor Sonal Vengurlekar lashes out on the money demands stated by Raja Bajaj

Actor Sonal Vengurlekar is one of the prominent, yet rare names from the television Industry to come out and speak about her personal incident on the #MeToo movement.

The actor who was interviewed by a leading daily spoke how Raja Bajaj sexually assaulted her six years back. In his defense, Raja stated that Sonal had demanded money to keep mum about the incident.

The actress speaks on that front, saying "I think demanding money to keep mum is the most obvious and the most common excuse he could have ever mentioned. What surprises me is the fact that had I demanded money and still went ahead and did a FIR, then I should by true sense be awarded the most fearless human' title please. I mean who on earth will first ask for money and then go and do a FIR also? That's quite some guts to have I must say."

She further adds, "Keeping it short and simple, no monies were asked. It is the most common and used up excuse to put anyone in soup", concludes Sonal.
