Actor Koel Mallick & Whole Family Tests Positive For COVID-19

Amidst the constantly rising and seemingly unstoppable count of coronavirus cases in India, several public figures seem to be now getting into the mix of things too and these instances certainly shock more than others.

Recently, we reported about how actor Mohena Kumari Singh, her brother a few others were diagnosed with the disease but fortunately, have been on speedy recovery, and Singh, in fact, tested negative.

Now news has come in from the east side of India, where popular actor Koel Mallick has tested positive for coronavirus. Mallick is one of the most popular and celebrated names in the Bengali entertainment industry. What is actually all the more saddening and worrisome factor here is that not just Mallick but her whole family which includes her husband, father and mother have all tested positive for COVID-19.

The only encouraging factor in this saga is that they are under self-quarantine and didn't have the need to be admitted in the hospital. They are even monitoring their health on a daily basis.
