Hazards and unforeseen circumstances are a part and parcel of daily life on the shoot. However, we have come across instances of how some occurrences turn out to be rather dangerous. A similar instance recently happened on the sets of Nimki Mukhiya (now Vidhayak). Actor Abhishek Sharmaa suffered an accident on the sets where the shoot had to be stopped immediately and Sharma was rushed to the hospital after a piece of glass pierced his wrist when he broke a glass while shooting for a scene for the show.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Sharma mentioned how he had to enact a scene where he crushes a glass of water in frustration in his hand. It seemed like a normal scene until he felt a deep cut in his right wrist and glass pieces falling on it. Soon, he was taken to the hospital after he started bleeding profusely and has now got eight to nine stitches on his wrist. He concluded saying how he won't be able to shoot for another week as he is in pain and his movements are also restricted.
In an unfortunate coincidence, it was also the same day his wife, parents, and brother had come to see the shoot,
We wish Sharma a speedy recovery.
