Abhishek Malhan Discloses That Nischay Malhan’s Relationship Was A Secret For His Family: 'Photos were leaked

In December 2024, Abhishek Malhan’s brother, the well-known YouTuber Triggered Insaan, also known as Nischay Malhan, caught everyone off guard by announcing his engagement to Ruchika Rathore. Almost immediately, photos and videos from their private engagement celebration went viral on social media, with fans showering affection on the couple. However, Abhishek has now disclosed that he was unaware of Nischay’s romantic relationship for quite some time.

In an interview with CNN-News18 Showsha, Abhishek Malhan shared his thoughts on his brother's engagement and reflected on his reaction when he learned that his brother was dating Ruchika.

“When Nischay told me that he wants to get engaged, I was like, ‘Bhai, when did you fall in love?’ I did not know about it. He hid it (his relationship) from us also for a long time. But when we got to know, I was like, ‘bro wow, I’m loving it’," Abhishek revealed.

Fukra Insaan revealed that the family hadn't intended to announce Nischay's engagement. However, after the photos were leaked, they felt they had no choice but to go public with the news.

We were not planning to announce his engagement. We planned to announce it only after the wedding. We had no phones also at the engagement. People were not allowed to take out their phones also. I don’t know how one of the clips went viral on YouTube. I immediately called Nischay and asked him to post pictures. Then, late at night, around 11 pm, he posted his engagement video. After this, some photos were also leaked and videos also started going viral. I think one of the cameramen did it (laughs). Then we also posted photos and videos because people were also messaging us continuously

On the professional side, Abhishek Malhan, recognized for his time in Bigg Boss OTT 2, is now hosting Game Of Greet, which is available for streaming on JioHotstar.

Talking about the show, he said, “The show is all about expressing yourself, showing your emotions, explaining why you need the money, and manipulating the other person into convincing them that you’re going to share (the money), and then you snatch. That’s the game. It’s all about delusion or dilemma. I always say this: In this game show, money walks, money talks and loyalty works, but with every decision, either you win the money or you deceive the other person."
