The Talented singer and winner of Sony TV's Indian Idol - 1 Abhijeet Sawant launched his music album Farida yesterday with the love and support of people from the industry. Sajid-Wajid, Neeti Mohan, Kailash Kher among many others came to the launch event to cheer and support Abhijeet Sawant.

Talking about the album Abhijeet said, "This is my third album and I am waiting to hear the response from people for the same. It has taken me 5 long years to come up with this album. Though the journey was long I did not realize it since there were a lot of things happening side by side. I did shows in India and also playback singing was keeping me busy."

He further added, "I had planned to come up with the album before too but that was a time for revolution. There were numerous changes in the electronic medium for instance, there was I-tunes, MP3, MP4, and much more introduced in these 5 years. I thought it was not the right time then and decided to come up with the album now."

We wish Abhijeet Sawant all the best for his career.

I have heard the songs in Farida.. and frankly he has done some work on his voice and some by technology. 2 songs are nice. As far as him being busy .. I think like all average reality show winners he was busy singing for festivals, corporate annual functions and weddings. But no harm.. he is making his living.. with limited talent and hard work and some luck. No harm.

But well done AB! and sachin will always be my #1 cricketer. After all, cricket is a religion and Sachin is God. ;) Still happy for AB though for getting the most number of followers on day 1! :)

Of Course Big B is Megha star and my favourite star abd Sachin is also my favourite cricket player, Sachin Tendulkar is best Cricket Player in the World and older people to little kids bring their bats to get autographs when he plays out of India but Big B's fan floowing is basically Indian or Indian Origins living abroad.
