Aayush Sharma's grandfather rushed to hospital after brainstroke

Actor Aayush Sharma's grandfather and veteran politician, Pandit Sukh Ram Sharma was recently admitted to the AIIMS hospital in Delhi after he suffered a brain stroke. We have learnt that Pandit Sukh Ram was airlifted from Mandi to Delhi. His health started deteriorating on Friday afternoon, after which the family decided to airlift him to Delhi on Saturday.

For the unversed, Pandit Sukh Ram Sharma was the union minister holding the communications portfolio in the Narasimha Rao government at the Centre. He made the first mobile phone call in the country which was between him and the then Chief Minister of West Bengal, Jyoti Basu.

We hope Mr. Sharma is able to recover at the soonest.

Sharma on his side, was last seen in the film, Antim: The Final Truth and will next be seen in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali alongside brother-in-law and superstar Salman Khan.
