Aayush Sharma reveals: I thought I blew up Salman's money

Despite debuting with Salman Khan-backed Loveyatri (2018) and starring alongside Salman himself in Antim: The Final Truth (2021), actor Aayush Sharma is yet to make a significant mark in the entertainment industry.

In a recent interview on Siddharth Kannan’s YouTube channel, Sharma addressed speculations surrounding his marriage to Salman's sister, Arpita Khan, insinuating financial motives. He clarified, “People don't know that when I got married, I told Salman Khan that I don't want to pursue acting... Salman said ‘Son, your training is not good, I’ll train you.’ The narrative was created that I am blowing up my brother-in-law's money. Should I share my income tax details?”

Reflecting on his journey, Sharma recalled emotional conversations with Salman regarding the performance of Loveyatri and the relief he felt when Antim's digital rights were sold. Aayush shared, “When Salman called me during Loveyatri, I had tears in my eyes. I said ‘Sorry, I blew up your money.’ When Antim's digital rights were sold to satellite and OTT platforms, I was relieved."

For the unversed, married to Arpita Khan since November 18, 2014, Sharma is a proud father of two children, daughter Ayat and son Ahil. Hailing from a political family background, with his father Anil Sharma being a BJP politician and grandfather Pandit Sukh Ram a renowned Congress leader. Talking about his upcoming films, Sharma is set to star in Kwatha.
