Aayush Sharma finally opens up about the Loveyatri controversy

The entire controversy was uncalled for and unnecessary..

Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma is all set to make his Bollywood debut with LoveYatri. Earlier the name of the movie was Loveratri and it stirred up a huge controversy . Apparently, people were of the opinion that it was hurting the sentiments of Hindu festival Navratri.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad had been creating hassles for this title since long. Recently, Bihar court had an FIR filed against Salman Khan for playing with the religious sentiments of people. Many advocates moved petitions in various courts siting a change in name so that the distortion of Hindu festival Navratri can be averted.

The makers then resorted to pick a middle path and changed the name of the movie to LoveYatri. In a recent interview, Aayush Sharma opened up about the entire controversy. He said,"Our intention was very clear. We wanted a film that connects with most people. There was an unnecessary conversation and objection happening over it,"

He kept on assuring that his movie, in any possible way, can't hurt the sentiments of any religion. He said that there is not even a single 'double meaning dialogue' in the movie. He is of an opinion that this unnecessary attention can be bad for him and his movie. "I don't need unnecessary attention and I don't want anybody else to get the attention, so if you have a problem, we will change it (title). So, we gave up on the title and it is ok,"he continued.

The movie Loveyatri is a romantic story and is all set to release on October 5th. Aayush Sharma is making his debut opposite another female debutante Warina Hussain. Now only time will tell if Salman's extra push or this controversy gives it's color to the film. For more deets, stay tuned to India-forums.
