Aamir-Kareena's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' Officially Postponed To 2021

It actually doesn't come across as a major shock that multiple films are being postponed or indefinitely suspended owing to the constantly rising threat of coronavirus.

Apart from the fact that multiple mega releases we're stopped and shoots were halted, several forthcoming films are also facing postponment now.

Joining that bandwagon now is Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. Even though the film was originally scheduled for a late 2020 release, it has now officially been confirmed that the film will be slightly delayed.

 Speaking with Pinkvilla, Laal Singh Chaddha writer Atul Kulkarni hinted at the film release date getting slightly delayed. As Aamir’s film was scheduled to hit theatres during the Christmas weekend, on December 25, 2020, the movie might not stick to its release date. Kulkarni revealed that he thinks Laal Singh Chhadha would release next year and said, “Laal Singh, I think, would release next year now. We were supposed to release in December.”

As writer Atul Kulkarni hinted at the film release date being postponed to 2021, last month, according to reports, Aamir Khan along with the cast and crew of the film were forced to stall the Punjab schedule due to the COVID-19 outbreak in India.
