Aakash Talwar to feature in Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma in Jamai Raja 2.0

We already reported that Zee5 is all set to bring the sequel of Zee TV’s popular family drama, Jamai Raja. The makers have retained the primary cast of the show and locked some fresh characters for the upcoming sequel, which will be a web series. Now, what we hear is, another actor is preparing to join the stellar cast of the show.

Actor Aakash Talwar who was last seen in Star Plus’ supernatural drama Divya Drishti, has been roped for Jamai Raja 2.0. He’ll be seen playing a character named Paritosh, who is in love with Nia’s character. However, Nia will be confused about her feelings for him. His character would obviously create complications in the love-story of the lead pair.

Apart from Divya Drishti, Aakash was part of shows like Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan 2, Ishq Ka Rang Safed, Thapki Pyar Ki and Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.

Other actors including Sudhanshu Pandey, Khatija Iqbal, Pratik Dixit, Varun Jain and Shezali Sharma are also part of the project.

For the uninitiated, Jamai Raja was one of the most popular shows on Television, starring Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma. The show was produced by actor Akshay Kumar and co-produced by Ashvini Yardi and Meenakshi Sagar. The story centred around the bitter relationship of a mother-daughter and how the daughter’s love interest comes in their lives to change their perspectives for each other.
