Sonam Kapoor who is known as one of the most fashionable actresses in the Bollywood industry and rightly so! In her recent appearance at Cannes Film Festival, she left no stone unturned and showcased as the diva that she is.

With her hit movies like Neerja and Ranjhana in serious roles as compared to her girl next door roles in Khoobsurat and Aisha, she has always proved to be well dressed and taking great fashion risks. Also, the trend setter for most of the young females of the country, she has done it all perfectly.

On her birthday today, we present to you the 7 Hollywood movies which we think are perfect for her and she would do a stellar job in these iconic roles being the fashionista and fun loving girl that she is.

1.       As Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and The City

Well, we all know how high on fashion is this movie and the classic role of Carrie Bradshaw as well. Writing columns in magazines and newspapers on life lessons, boys/men, fashion and all things style, don't you think Sonam would fit perfectly here? With the great fashion sense that she has, she would totally kill it!

2.       As Rebecca Bloomwood, Confessions of a Shopaholic

Before I say anything else, think of Sonam's movie 'Aisha' and put that role in this movie. Can you imagine Sonam Kapoor as Rebecca and not resist her from entering the store and picking that one fabulous piece of clothing? Yes, it indeed is spot on and yes, this movie is tailored in the best way for Sonam!

3.       As Jane Nichols, 27 Dresses

Well well well, being bridesmaid, those 27 dresses and the impeccable role as Jane, Sonam could pull it off as any of those lovely dresses she flaunts herself in. Is there anyone else apart from her you think could do it? The answer is NO.

4.       As Abby Ritcher, The Ugly Truth

Another Katherine Heigl film, The Ugly Truth about the hopeless romantic Abby who is TV producer and her failed dates to only in the end meet Mike (Gerard Butler), a correspondent,  and fall in love in all the odd ways, are you thinking of Sonam's film, 'I Hate Luv Storys' too? Yep, rings the chords. This rom-com is something Sonam could do without any effort!

5.       As Mia Thermopolis, The Princess Diaries

The princess of the loving daddy Anil Kapoor, Sonam would do a stellar job as Mia in the film series, The Princess Diaries and we will have no regrets watching it. Fits like a glove, no double thoughts at all!

6.       As Jenna Rink, 13 Going on 30

This Jennifer Garner is another perfect role for Sonam of course! She is known as the bubbly talkative, girl next door type and Jenna Rink is just that. A love story, an inquisitive thought about adulthood, Sonam would look lovely in this.

7.       As Olivia Liv Lerner, Bride Wars

Kate Hudson's role as Olivia is independent, successful and a strong woman but even fun loving, jolly and dreamy in her own ways. So was Sonam's role in her film, 'Khoobsurat'. And this is what made us think that Sonam Kapoor would play the role fabulously!
