Virendra greets them by hugging them. Veer is his and Sakshi's adopted son.

Purvi - I so wish you two were here. Mein tum dono ko kitna miss kar rahi hu.

Purvi thinks and recalls what had happened when she went to get Virendra's signature on her college admission form. Anita and Pammi didn't let her meet him, instead took it from her and told her her studying further is not needed, and she should forget about it.
