NY Hospital

October 2017.

"Look the accident was very deadly as hit of the car threw him far, causing a dangerous wound in his head but still he is alive that was miracle. Though we saved him from death but still his condition is totally different as he is not responding to the medicines, looks like he was already very depressed that he is not willing to live more. And his unresponsiveness towards treatment is pushing him to coma, he has 12 hours if within these hours he gain his consciousness that means he responded to the medicines then he will be out of danger. But if he didn't wake up in these hours, I am sorry to say but he might slip into coma. So pray to God and don't give any stress."

These words of doctor resonated in the ears of Aisha, Riya and Arjun making them shocked with the use of term "Coma". None among the three was able to digest the consequence of Sameer unresponsiveness.

Soon Riya and Arjun came out of their trance on seeing Aisha rushing inside the operation theatre pushing nurse and others.

Doctor said "We will shift Mr Sameer to a private room then you can meet him until then please don't enter OT it's prohibited."

Saying so doctor left while Arjun look towards OT with eyes filled with tears and Riya with worried eyes for Aisha and Sameer. 

Nurse brought Aisha out of OT forcibly, Riya hugged her to stop her attempt of entering OT again. Riya is worried for both Sameer and Aisha while seeing Aisha's condition she is hell scared if something happens.

Soon within half hour, Sameer was shifted in private room and Arjun, Riya along with now-numbed Aisha entered the room. Sameer was surrounded by machines and IV drips attached to his arms while bandages covered his left leg and left elbow and his head. Seeing his state, more tears welled up in the eyes of three people who are now standing around his bed.

Oh how Sameer wished to see three of them together infront of him but now he is not opening his own eyes to see his favourite moment where his best friend Arjun along with his Riya met his (Sameer's) love of life. As after his parents Sameer only had Arjun and Riya as his own to share his happiness and feelings.

A sob escaped from Aisha's lip which slowly turn into wail. Arjun put his hand on her shoulder and said "Nothing will happen to him. I know him, he is way much stronger than any such accident. Just be strong for him."

Aisha whispered incoherently "But doctor said...he.. coma.."

"If we stand by him and support him nothing will happen to him. He will come back to us. Just have faith in God. Trust him." Riya said understanding her trauma.

Arjun had called Mr and Mrs Rathod to informed them that Sam met an accident but nothing serious has happened and don't take the words of news as they didn't knew the truth, he knew informing them about real situation can cause more problems as Sam's parents are heart patient and recently they had some health issue. So to not create more problems he lied to them about Sameer's health.

More than two hours have passed but there is no change in Sameer, Arjun went out leaving both Riya and Aisha to fetch something to drink and eat as well as he is worried for Aryan and Sneha being alone at home with maids. So after fetching coffee and some sandwiches along with biscuits, he returned back to the room and gave them to Riya and Aisha. He came out of the room and telling Riya that he is going to bring the kids here and understanding his tension, Riya just nod her head.

It is now 7pm and Aisha started feeling dizzy and held onto Sameer's uninjured arm as she was sitting on a chair beside his bed since last three hours. She had rejected Riya's plea to eat something or at least drink and now the result of not having anything from afternoon and already she had suffered from nervous breakdown, finally she fainted.

Seeing her faint, Riya started to get  panick but sigh seeing Arjun barging inside the room with kids. Arjun hurriedly handed Sneha to Riya and called the doctor after making Aisha lie on the nearby couch.

"Look, I already told you to not stress but it's not happening. Give assurance, talk to her or do anything but please keep her out of the stress and tension otherwise she might fell in depression. I am prescribing some medicine which will help for the time being. Make sure she have these pills after eating something rich and health and these medications are strong." Doctor informed Arjun and Riya after checking Aisha.

Both of them nod their head then doctor left the room saying "Call me if something happens."

It has been almost 8 hour and Riya had forced Aisha to eat something and have her medicine swearing on Sameer. Aisha too had somewhat relaxed herself after seeing Aryan on the verge of crying when his chachu didn't have any response to him. She took the boy on her lap and tried to divert his mind along with herself. Soon Aryan slept in her arms being exhausted as well as it's already 11 in the night. Riya took sleeping Aryan from her and ask Aisha to relax on couch whereas she put Aryan beside Sneha on a fold-able kid's bed which Arjun brought.

Aisha refused to relax on couch and she whisper yelled on Riya "I don't want to relax anymore. Didn't you hear the Doctor. 12 hours..! only 12 hours. And it's already half past 12, only three hours are left. What if he didn't woke up? What will we do? I can't lose him. He.. he..." She cried.

Riya immediately hugged her and asked her to calm down. "Please Aisha calm down. Believe me, he will wake up for us, for you. Please don't lose hope."

It was after half hour that Aisha was sitting beside Sameer's bed staring at him, silently requesting to wake up while holding his hand. Riya was sobbing silently with her head on Arjun's shoulder where as he was looking at his best friend who is looking almost lifeless body lying on the bed while remembering his college days, the first meet with his only understanding buddy when Arjun's missed his parents alot in their teenage. Trio were so engrossed that none notice the slight movements of Sameer's fingers, until they heard a gasp coming through the oxygen mask. They look at Sameer's face to understand what happened then they saw his fluttering eyes as he tried to open but couldn't due to weakness.

Aisha gasped loudly in happiness, Riya rush towards Sameer while Arjun ran to call the doctor.

Soon doctor came and declared,

Yes Sameer is out of danger.

Sea-view Restaurant.

October, 2017.

"Roshini Deshmukh! Now stop being grumpy old lady and enjoy this. You had been asking for this, when finally I got time to brought you here then you are showing disinterest. Come on! Stop being spoil sport and enjoy alright."  Said a highly irritated man to the lady sitting infront of him with attitude.

"Rohit please. Let's move na. It's so boring here, I can't even eat in this boring silent atmosphere." Said Roshini.

"No means no. You forced me to get leave today as it's your holiday and want to taste the food which this restaurant offers. So now you have to sit here only and enjoy." Said Rohit.

"Rohit!!!" Shrieked Roshini before adding sweetly "Please Maan jao na."

Rohit shook his head negatively.

Roshini stomp her foot on his feet causing him to wince but he continued to have the starters they ordered. Soon Roshini saw someone sitting beside her table which made her mood foul totally. As she exclaimed whispering "Now I have all the more reason to not eat or sit here anymore."

Rohit asked 'what?' through his eyes and saw her glaring the person on the side table as she told "Look my ex-mother in-law and her family doctor in having their get together here. I can't spend one second more here..." But she stopped on hearing that the same person talking to the doctor.

"What a grateful work you had done.! First Roshini then Riya." Exclaimed the lady from the table next to Roshini.

The shocked face of Roshini explained Rohit that something serious and important is coming their way as he too heard the lady's words and the lady didn't saw Roshini which means she is going to talk more. He held Roshini's hand to lend her support and strength to face whatever is going to happen.

The Doctor exclaimed with smile "Thanks to you Anjana, that you convinced your husband to let me do the experiment of my drugs on your newphew, illegally."

"Oh! We have to let you do it. What a worthwhile decision we took, I am so glad of it. After all you give us 2 lakh for that experiment and it help us to get rid of that worthless middle-class beggar Roshini and that orphan pregnant bit** Riya. It was all worthy."
