Karan Johar shares throwback pics from Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna sets; pens emotional note

Recently, the director of "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" took a trip down memory lane, expressing his gratitude to Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra on social media. 

Sharing a throwback monochromatic picture from the sets of "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna," Johar reminisced about a poignant moment captured in time. In the snapshot, Johar is seen deep in conversation with Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, their camaraderie evident as they engross themselves in discussion. Clad in winter attire, Johar and Khan exude focus, while Mukerji dons a lehenga with a shawl wrapped around her, her head resting gently on the bench.

Accompanying the post is a heartfelt note in which Johar expresses his gratitude to Chopra and Khan for their unwavering support and encouragement in nurturing his aspirations as a storyteller.  He expressed in the caption, 

“Being a bystander to such incredible talent has been my hugest learning curve…. I look back with indelible memories and gratitude. Not a single day I haven’t thanked my the universe, Aditya Chopra, and Shah Rukh Khan for convincing me that I could be a storyteller and attempt to direct my childhood dreams on celluloid …”

As a nostalgic touch, Johar sets the backdrop with the super hit track "Ve Kamleyaa" from "RARKPK," further adding to the sentimentality of the moment. 

Known for their collaborative spirit, Johar, Khan, and Mukerji have previously joined forces on iconic films like "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham."
