Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Vidya almost slaps Abhira, but Armaan intervenes to stop her

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) finds herself tending to her wound, with Armaan (Rohit Purohit) stepping in to offer assistance. Agreeing to his help, Abhira allows Armaan to aid her. Meanwhile, Manisha encourages Kaveri to have something to eat, while Vidya expresses reluctance, blaming Abhira for their lack of appetite. In an attempt to lift spirits, Ruhi takes charge and decides to prepare lemonade for everyone.

As Abhira begins to dance, Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani) questions her actions, but Abhira insists on not being interrupted, proudly revealing her gesture of making lemonade for all. However, Kaveri's reaction is far from positive, as she directs her anger towards Abhira, expressing her disdain openly. This outburst leaves Abhira visibly stunned, with Kaveri even going so far as to declare her refusal to accept any food prepared by Abhira.

Ruhi confronts Abhira about the consequences of her behavior within the Poddar family, emphasizing that only familial forgiveness could excuse her actions, a privilege she insists Abhira doesn't have. Kaveri instructs Sanjay to fetch Armaan and the necessary documents, signaling a pivotal moment. Despite Ruhi's intervention preventing Abhira from using the kitchen, she refuses to be deterred, preparing her meals outside the house and finding solace in celebrating with the orphanage children. Kaveri is taken aback by this revelation, while Ruhi explains her decision to prevent Abhira from accessing the kitchen to Kaveri.

Kaveri urges Armaan to divorce Abhira:

Armaan is visibly moved by Abhira's selfless act of feeding the orphanage children, yet Kaveri wastes no time in demanding that Armaan divorce Abhira. The shock of this request is evident on Armaan's face, as he grapples with the implications for himself, Madhav, and Vidya. Despite Kaveri and Sanjay's insistence, Armaan hesitates, asking for time to consider his decision.

Meanwhile, tensions escalate within the family as Charu and Vidya ignore Abhira's attempts to mend fences. Abhira apologizes to Vidya, urging her to move on with her life and accept Madhav, but her efforts are met with anger. Vidya becomes furious with Abhira, and in the heat of the moment, Armaan intervenes to prevent Vidya from slapping Abhira. Expressing his frustration, Armaan scolds Abhira for causing trouble for Vidya. He then instructs Abhira to steer clear of getting involved in Vidya and Madhav's affairs. In response, Abhira points out that Arman seems overly concerned about his reputation, implying that this is why he wants her to stay away from Vidya and Madhav's issues. Further, Armaan hands over the divorce papers to Abhira, urging her to sign.
