Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira feels ashamed for ruining Akshara's dream

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani) expresses her gratitude to Vidya, who in turn praises Ruhi as a perfect match for Armaan (Rohit Purohit), making Ruhi emotional. She questions Vidya about why she concealed the truth of her affair from Kaveri. Vidya explains that neither Kaveri nor the Poddars would understand that Armaan gave up his love for Rohit. Vidya intends not to tarnish Ruhi's image in front of the family. Ruhi expresses her gratitude to Vidya again. Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) reflects on Vidya's suggestion of Ruhi and Armaan's union and is haunted by memories of her with Armaan, leaving her heartbroken. Meanwhile, Ruhi dances with joy.

A student asks Armaan for a ride to college due to his bike breaking down. Armaan agrees to help but distances himself upon realizing the boy is Abhira's classmate. While Ruhi eagerly awaits Armaan's arrival to share some good news, she fantasizes about marrying him and believes nothing can come between them.

The Poddars oppose Vidya's decision:

During her exam, Abhira struggles to focus and encourages herself to continue, but thoughts of Vidya's proposal and memories of Ruhi and Armaan disrupt her concentration. Feeling overwhelmed, she leaves the examination hall. On the other hand, Armaan decides to enter the college and check on Abhira as after she completes her examination, he will be relieved from his promise to Akshara. After reaching the examination hall, Armaan finds out that Abhira has quit her exam. 

Meanwhile, Madhav and Sanjay oppose Vidya's decision, with Sanjay suggesting Ruhi should marry someone else and leave the house. Kajal supports Ruhi, advising Sanjay to separate personal issues from the matter. Manisha insists Ruhi cannot simply be replaced in Armaan's life, gaining support from Krish and Manoj. Charu and Aryan back the idea of Armaan and Ruhi's marriage. Vidya requests the Poddars for more time to decide on the marriage.

Armaan learns the truth:

Abhira feels ashamed for jeopardizing Akshara's dream and regrets abandoning her exam because of Armaan. Armaan confronts her about leaving the exam, but Abhira retorts, telling him to stop controlling her. Armaan insists she finishes her exam, but she informs him that his marriage with Ruhi is already arranged, shocking Armaan. Abhira accuses him of not waiting for their divorce and calls herself a burden. Determined, she vows to excel in her exam to free Armaan from his obligations. When the examiner refuses to let Abhira retake the exam, she decides to stand up for herself and tells Armaan not to worry about her. Eventually, the examiner agrees, considering her innocence, and on the condition that he'll check the camera later.
